Partnerships

Daily Harbor considers collaborations that make sense for readers interested in coasts, harbors, shore life, and coastal culture. Each proposal is assessed for fit, clarity, and how its relationship to the publication can be stated.

What we consider

Possible collaborations include clearly identified sponsored features, partner messages, and partner placements across the site. We consider proposals connected to coastal subjects and reject arrangements that require disguising commercial material as independent editorial work or guarantee favorable coverage.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Partner material is labelled in direct language, such as sponsored or partner content, so readers can recognize its nature. Editorial articles remain under editorial control, and a placement does not imply endorsement. Any relevant relationship is disclosed alongside the material.

Make a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, intended placement, and the organization or project involved. Please explain what you would like readers to understand and how the material would be identified.
